Oh, where have I been. I haven't updated in a while. Well I am skating now. I bought and built a skateboard. I find it to be a lot of fun. I have not had time to get out and skate much, but when I do, it is nerve racking (skating in Manhattan), exciting and fun. It is also a workout. Who knew! That is a good thing. I need to shed some weight.




I first started learning on my co-worker's skateboards. I bought the deck about a month ago and I am already ready to buy more, lol. I leave this deck at work. We skate during lunch or after work. The next one I buy, I will leave it at home. This way I can practice my balance in the house or take the board out to ride ... at night, lol. That is the thing that sucks about living in a metro area: there are people everywhere. It is hard to find places where you can be alone.

I can cruise and thrown down my board. Working on my kick turns and balance. I'm almost ready to start Ollie-ing :-D
Maybe later on I will get someone to photograph me skating ... I said MAYBE.
